Not sure what Momo refers to. I'm a female with no auto mechanics knowledge and I've never been patronized to by anyone in this shop, either by phone or in person, during the countless interactions I've had with them since 2014 (almost ten plus years). But I guess that in this day and age perceptions reign, it's way easier to be offended by a well intended word, or even another's tone of voice. Therefore, it's easy to forget that communications by telephone or text are easier to misconstrue than if you are dealing with someone in person. When others get a knee jerk reaction to sling mud at a small "mom and pop" as opposed to sit down with the owner/manager, and base their review on feelings as opposed to the actual service they are literally playing with the livelihood of those who are employed there. Needless to say, I've been treated with nothing but the utmost respect and fairness by this business and their employees. I've been taking my old Buick Le Sabre to GM Exclusive for years and you could not persuade me to go anywhere else. This is a reputable business, Art is honest, will not scalpel you, and his ethics are incomparable to any other shop I've been to. I would not be surprised if I got told that the service here is better, more financially reasonable, or that it surpasses the services from any GM dealership. Art does not need expensive commercials to tout the professionalism and quality of his services. Word of mouth from all of those who bring their vehicles to him, regardless if it's for an usual oil change or something more complicated will be living proof of why he has a loyal customer base. I have a story to tell, my Chevy Cruze had a problem with its power steering. Art went through everything by the book. It came down to my power steering unit was bad. Parts and labor it was going to be about $1650. He spent lots of time talking to AC Delco (the manufacture the electrics for Chevy). He found out it was going to take more parts he was going to help me out with costs. But Art was not sure that the experts knew how to fix the problem best way. By him taking time and thinking it through he found the problem and was able to correct it. This is the important part to me. When it was all done. Art gave me the bill and it was $575. Instead of $1650. He had me. But this is the important part about a third of the cost. Today's visit was an oil change, while I waited. Scheduling a time to come in was easy. Art, the owner of GMExclusive, keeps his appointments, is very conscientious about the customer's time, finding out in advance the customer plans on waiting or returning at a later time. I have been bringing my Corvette(s) to Art for nearly 20 years. I would not trust repairs and maintenance of my car to anyone else. The turbo went out on my 2008 Saturn Sky. Art did wonderful work on the vehicle, walked me through the best options for the turbo, worked with the manufacturer to tune the part, and the 370,000 mile engine is driving better than ever. It was important to me at the time to know why my airbag light was on, but I realized that afterwards it was all a waste of time and money. The technician though was very detailed and knowledgeable about my vehicle. He asked a lot of questions to figure out what could lead him to the possibilties why the air bag light was on. He found the problem, and he did tell me that it'll cost me $800 to get the part, not including labor of course. It was a modulator, and apparently they don't make it anymore for my vehicle Pontiac Grand am 2001. I would have to find working one at a junkyard. Although I have to say the best experience from all this came from the front desk. I forgot her name, but she treated every customer the same way after she helped me. Not all customer service is the same everywhere.

Found GM Exclusive online, read the reviews and figured it was worth a shot. Art is absolutely as professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and honest as all the reviews say...They're amazing. I will definitely be going back for my car maintenance, and will highly recommend to all of my GM driving friends.

I have been very skeptical about finding a shop to do the work on my truck. GM Exclusive was recommended by a friend and WOW did they put me at ease. Very affordable repair. But more than anything I a felt like they where honest and helpful. I will be taking my truck there for any additional repairs or work that it would need. This place deserves 6 STARS, Art and his team were more than helpful. My AC in my 2014 Chevy Silverado went out they replaced the condenser and made sure I was happy. They didn't over charge and never pushed me in any decision. I will go back if I need work done in the future thanks guys!!!
